KHALEESI & SNOW

I grew up with pitbulls. At first, it was not by choice, my oldest brother would drop them off and leave, and we would be scared. However, they became our friends, and protected us. They were one of the crew, so eventually as I became older I took one for myself, and while I was away traveling she was stolen. Her name was Cypress (I still get emotional about that). Many years later my eldest daughter came home with a baby pit named Bella, I was against it as solidarity to Cypress, but little by little Bella stole my heart. She became my fifth daughter, but I was not ready. My schedule was insane, and my girls were not responsible, so one day I had to run home, because Bella was hurt. It broke my heart. I drove her to the vet, and while I was there waiting like a worried mother, one of the vet’s and I started talking (the things he said weighed heavy in my heart). The vet said that most people get a trophy pet, just to show them off, stuck in an apartment, or cage all day, because their owner doesn’t have the time. I left that day and had Bella sleeping with me on my bed until she healed. My neighbors have several dogs, and one of their daughters was always visiting Bella. She was a newly wed & homeowner. I gave them Bella (no money involved), that was one of my hardest & saddest decisions (I cried throughout our whole conversation). I still think about Bella and wish that I can ask for her back. Bella visits me, and loves me. They are amazing to her, and as time went by, it was confirmed, that i had made a selfless decision with Bella’s best interest at heart. I made an oath of solidarity to Bella. Some years later my eldest daughter would bring her new puppy Blue (who is beautiful). Little by little I fell in love, but my daughter was never going to give her up, because she also gets sentimental about Bella. I told her if Blue ever has babies “I want one”, I knew I was ready now. This was not planned, Blue & my daughter’s newest pup Thor got it on secretly (cracking up over here as I type), but i can’t make this stuff up. I originally told my daughter that I would take a darker color one resembling Blue (hard pick), because Blue had 11 puppies, but the 1st one that came out was Khaleesi (white with spot on eye) looking just like cypress, and bullying all her siblings (I couldn’t leave her), so here I am with my twins, and most importantly I have the time to train them & show them love. In the bottom there will be a pick of my Bella here as a baby. I wanted to share with my readers, and emphasize that pets are a responsibility (not just for show)! God Bless.
